Do I need broadband to use 100dimensions? |
No. 100dimensions works reliably over most Internet connections, from low-speed DSL to high-speed fiberoptics cable. With low-speed DSL, reserve shows in advance and leave your computer on.

How do I select shows? |
From the player: click on the "Get More Shows" button in the upper right corner. This brings you to the 100dimensions website where you can search among thousands of shows by name or by genre. Simply click on the show thumbnail to select.

I selected shows a while ago. When can I start viewing? |
When a show is ready for viewing (it depends on your Internet connection speed), it will be listed under the "Full-Length Shows" tab. You can start watching the 2-minute preview as soon as the show appears under the "Previews" tab.

Can I watch while I'm not connected to the Internet? |
Absolutely. 100dimensions was designed so that you can load your laptop with interesting shows overnight and watch later, even when no longer connected to the Internet. Shows listed under the "Full-Length Shows" tab can be viewed without Internet connection.

The website asks me to enter a 16-digit address. Why? |
The website needs a destination address ONLY IF you are selecting shows from a remote location (i.e. not from your personal computer running the 100dimensions player). This is the case, for example, when requesting shows from a remote location, say a library or work. It is just to tell the system where to send the shows to. If you are selecting shows from the same computer running the 100dimensions player, use the "Get More Shows" button on the upper right corner so that no address is needed.

Can I copy shows? |
No. Shows may be free to watch, but they remain the property of the original content provider. Files are encrypted at all times. Shows can only play with the 100dimensions software on the computer specified at the time of the show selection.

Does 100dimensions work anywhere in the world? |
100dimensions servers are currently located exclusively in North America. We will add servers in other continents (Asia, Europe) later this year, but in the mean time users outside North America may not experience reliable service.

There is a new version on the web site. Should I uninstall the current version first? |
Upgrades do not require prior uninstallation. The uninstaller should only be used for final uninstallation as it deletes all shows.
